The IDC MarketScape report covers vendors that provide self-service digital banking solutions to the North American market to gauge the vendor’s ability to meet their strategic needs and current capabilities. According to the IDC MarketScape, Kony’s platform approach allows institutions to leverage out-of-the-box offerings, apps prebuilt on the Kony DBX platform, and also the ability to create customized solutions that meet the needs of institutions. The report also recognized Kony as one of the first vendors offering a true API and open banking platform, which is core agnostic.
“Kony DBX performed well in our categories on innovation and customer satisfaction. Innovation is based on our analysis of the company’s overall level of innovation, particularly as it relates to the concept of being truly an open banking and connected banking provider that supports an ecosystem of solutions,” said Marc DeCastro, research director, Consumer Banking Engagement Strategies, IDC Financial Insights. “Kony DBX also performed well in customer satisfaction, which is based on the entire customer life cycle and buying journey including, but not limited to, due diligence, contract negotiation, pricing transparency, pricing flexibility, customer support, vendor responsiveness, and shared long-term vision.”
“At Kony DBX we are committed to staying ahead of the curve and remaining at the forefront of digital innovation. This commitment will not change. We believe it is our responsibility to help equip and prepare financial institutions for digital transformation to empower their customers, members, and staff,” said Jeffery Kendall, senior vice president and general manager. “This recognition from the IDC MarketScape as a Digital Banking Customer Experience platform leader is an important validation of our commitment to enable banks and credit unions around the world to unlock the power of digital banking and deliver innovative new services with speed, security, and efficiency.”
